So following the last blog, you are well onto looking into what’s going on in your body, right ? You have been to the GP and had your blood work done, you have booked regular appointment with your acupuncturist (ME), added meditation into your daily life, you are trying to eat whole foods and each day you are eating a whole bowl of green leafy veggies and have exercised for 30 mins (insert big smiley face).
Baby steps, let’s recap. It takes 21 days to break and maintain a new habit. Be gentle with yourself. Do one thing and stick to it.
From a traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, let me break it down what is important and what’s not. The biggest things that impact your fertility are your hormones (menstrual cycle), lifestyle, sleep and exercise.
Stay tuned for more information about how these things affect your fertility and what you can do using traditional ways to eat well, exercise and connect with your whole Self more completely to get your body ready for conception.
In the meantime, if you would like some advice in person, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Big love!
