Gene is a Reiki Master with a Diploma of Counselling, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Counselling. With a profound understanding of emotional and energetic well-being, she passionately explores the interconnectedness of various aspects of health.


Gene's journey towards holistic medicine began with her own personal struggles with mental health, which eventually led to a healing transformation and reintegration of deep wounds through holistic practices. These personal experiences serve as the compass guiding her work, infused with empathy, compassion, and deep understanding.


Specialising in women's health and fertility for over a year, she has discovered a profound calling in this domain. Other areas of interest include mental health, body positivity, self-esteem, self-love, and connection to sensuality and sexuality.

Gene's holistic approach integrates traditional counselling techniques with the gentle yet powerful practice of Reiki, to create a nurturing environment for healing and self-discovery.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a sacred form of energy healing that originated in Japan and is centred around “life force energy”. In Reiki philosophy, there is a fundamental belief in the existence of a universal life force energy that flows through all living beings. This energy is sometimes referred to as "ki" in Japanese, "chi" in Chinese, or "prana" in Sanskrit. According to Reiki teachings, this life force energy is the essence of life itself and is present in all aspects of creation. 


When the flow of this life force energy is disrupted or blocked within an individual, it can lead to physical, emotional, or spiritual imbalances and manifest as illness or discomfort. Practitioners learn to channel this energy and direct it to where it is needed within the recipient's energy field. By gently placing their hands on or near the recipient's body, practitioners facilitate the flow of energy, helping to remove blockages and restore balance.
